FC Basel 1893 sign offensive youngster Edon Zhegrova from Belgian Jupiler Pro League club KRC Genk. Zhegrova is on loan until the end of the 2019/2020 season, with the option to buy.

Zhegrova will join his new team mates immediately, making the move from the leaders of the Belgian Jupiler Pro League, KRC Genk to FC Basel. The 19 year old, Kosovan international, made 12 appearances for Genk in the current season, scoring 4 goals and making 1 assist.
Sports director Marco Streller´s comments on Zhegrova: „ We have been observing Edon for a long time. His strengths are his agility and technical ability. He may be young but he has already gathered international experience in the Europa League Qualification rounds, as well as with Kosovo´s national team. We are delighted to have signed Edon for the next 18 months.”
