FC Basel 1893 have signed the 21-year-old, Norwegian, Mohamed Elyounoussi from Molde FK. Basel´s new offensive player signed a four-year contract and can play on the wing or in a central position.
FC Basel 1893 have signed the 21-year-old, Norwegian, Mohamed Elyounoussi from Molde FK. Basel´s new offensive player signed a four-year contract and can play on the wing or in a central position.
FCB´s new addition is 1,78m tall, weighs 70kg and has played for his country on five occasions. Elyounoussi played for Sarpsborg 08 FF´s youth team until he was 16, then moved to the 1st team, who play in Norway´s Tippeligaen. In March 2014 the Norwegian talent signed for Molde FK, where he played a total of 92 games and scored 42 goals. On an international level Elyounoussi played in 13 European fixtures, scoring 7 goals. Mohamed won the Norwegian league and cup with Molde FK in 2014.
On Wednesday July 6th, 2016, Mohamed will start his training with FCB and will play with shirt number 24.
